Celia Smart is a devoted wife, mother, fitness expert, and community leader with over 18 years of experience in the fitness industry as an athlete, coach, and trainer. She is Senior Project Manager for Ready Fitness, where she merges her deep knowledge of fitness with her sales expertise to design and equip functional, innovative fitness spaces for multifamily developments, educational institutions, corporate settings, and private studios.

Celia is driven by her belief in the power of community and collaboration, which is central to her personal motto, “Be Amazing.” This guiding principle has inspired her to create and host various events, as well as the “Be Amazing Podcast,” where she interviews influential figures from the business and fitness worlds.

With three years of experience as a host, moderator, and emcee, Celia has become known for her ability to engage audiences and create memorable, impactful event experiences. She has emceed high-profile events like Celebrating Women in the Queen City at South Park Mall and Light Up Charlotte, an event honoring local businesses. Additionally, she has moderated panels for the KNOW Women FOCU$ED Series in Charlotte and the National KNOW Women’s Summit in Arizona. Since 2020, Celia has also organized and led intimate women’s events, where she serves as emcee, host, and moderator.

Her passion for empowering others and fostering a sense of community continues to shape her work, motivating her to inspire and uplift those around her.

Beyond her fitness career, Celia is deeply committed to community service and has taken on numerous leadership roles in charitable organizations. She spent five years as a board member of the Healthy Charlotte initiative under the Charlotte Chamber, where she helped promote wellness throughout the city, earning the Novant “Healthy Charlotte” Volunteer of the Year Award in 2016 for her contributions.

From 2016 to 2018, Celia served as President of the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association Products and Services Council, also sitting on its Executive Board. In 2019, she participated in Dancing with the Stars Charlotte, raising over $32,000 for Carolina Breast Friends and winning the Judges’ Choice Award.

In 2024, Celia participated in the “Your Hour Her Power” campaign to raise funds for Dress For Success Charlotte and was featured in the KNOW Women NC State Book, a distinction that honors accomplished women. She currently serves as Secretary for the Piedmont Triad Apartment Association.

Celia’s involvement in these initiatives reflects her unwavering passion for uplifting others, strengthening communities, and leaving a lasting impact.
